We are very excited to announce that we have a guest speaker for this upcoming webinar. Jim Grimmer, the founder of P3 Business Care, will be joining Victoria and Colin next week to discuss Mental Health and Stress in the workplace.

Join us at this month’s Webinar: Mental Health – Are you playing your part? With mental health problems on the rise across the UK and April being Stress Awareness Month we feel there is no better topic to cover at this month’s webinar. Research from the Stress Management Society found that 65% of people have felt more stressed since the COVID-19 restrictions began in March 2020. This number highlights how important it is for employers to understand mental health and stress. At this event, we will be striving to help employers feel more confident in tackling mental health and stress within the workplace.

According to the Mental Health Foundation 74% of UK adults have felt so stressed at some point over the last year they felt overwhelmed or unable to cope. Having stressed employees can not only affect performance and increase absence but more importantly lead to illness.

HSE has revealed that stress, depression, or anxiety account for 51% of work-related ill health cases. We need to ask the questions as employers. Are we playing our part? Are we offering support? Could we do more? It is so important that employers understand stress, are able to spot the signs, and know how to tackle it.

P3 Business Care is a social enterprise that was created to bring personal and proactive care to people working in the corporate sector in partnership with the employer. We can’t wait to meet Jim Grimmer and hear expert advice from someone who is highly experienced in managing such issues within the workplace. We have no doubt his knowledge will be invaluable to employers following the revelation from HSE that stress, depression, or anxiety account for 51% of work-related ill health cases.
